It is absolutely amazing what you can find on the Internet these days.

What is even more amazing is the way Twitter has really become a tremendous source for finding exactly what you are looking for when you need it.

My 2 year old has her days and night mixed up lately. If any of you know what that means then you can sympathize.

While sitting up with her just past midnight I was cruising Twitter and came across this one particular Tweet that really caught my eye.

It said said something about 4500 site visits and a free ebook. I thought, what the heck. I’m up anyway. I’ll check it out.

That link brought me to Chris Brogan’s website where there was a link to a free ebook.

I have to be honest, I didn’t know who Chris Brogan was. I was following him because someone I trusted had him on their follow list.

As I had briefly touch upon in my last post, you are a reflection of the people in your immediate circle so I was trusting that my Twitter Pal had people worth following on her list too.

I made an assumption about Chris based on content I had seen him tweet about and through a Twitter friend. That assumption was 150% correct!

In between singing Itsy-Bitsy Spider and Patty Cake, I downloaded Chris’s free ebook. As I started to skim through it I realized right away that this wasn’t just another one of the million other free ebooks that I would skim through and send to to my trash bin.

The ebook itself is only 15 pages long including the cover. It is called Personal Branding for the Business Professional in a PDF format and contains everything from strategy advice to some considerations to over 100 tactics and ideas on what to do next regarding personal branding.

What is amazing is that Chris has no sign up. No opt in box to capture your info and send you a thousand emails trying to get you to buy something. The book is just FREE…no strings attached.

I will tell you though, you will want to subscribe to Chris’s feed without a doubt.

Much of what Chris wrote was so simple yet it really hit home. Branding yourself with integrity and with what is essentially your own best reflection was well stated in very few words!

Adding valuable content, developing the KLT Factor, authenticity and the issues of being the same, yet different, were all masterfully explained in short, yet sweet paragraphs.

So, who the heck is this guy anyway? I went back to Chris’s About Me page and dicovered that this passing name and face that I had seen Tweep across my screen was truly a master in his field. Take a minute to read about Chris and then make a point to subscribe to his newsletter and his feed.

Whether you are in Social Marketing, Internet Marketing or your just a Mom doing a Blog, take the time to read this free ebook and it will change the way you see yourself.

I’ll be redoing some things in the morning so come back and take a look at how I implement some of tips I picked up from just 15 pages of great content!

Did you get the Book yet?
